Gopher's Minions

I put together some 60 songs, mostly experimental, when I was working with my partner David Smith who is a professional drummer. We put together several pieces very similar to the Cyberpunk sound. It is a genre where you have to just flow with the creation and you don't know where it will go. A bit like progressive jazz

This is supposed to be Cyberpunk 2077 "Hyperpunk" and "Spiderbot" but the browser keeps loading :"Scavangers" for some reason...

My impression of the music is that it gets old real fast. Hopefully this is just combat music. It certainly isn't Skyrim.

It needs something more peaceful for interludes between combat.

Sounds interesting. Was any of it ever released?

Re:links I think the "&list=....." is throwing you off but I got them. gopherVaultStiv

If I had to guess I'd say these would be combat music. There has to be a contrast. I expect a more subdued ambient sound for walking around Night City. I agree, there should be something more peaceful, something that leaves you space to think.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution had an awesome ambient soundtrack. I expect something of a similar spine-tingling feel for Cyberpunk 2077.

I have published on several channels over the years. I don't think any of them still exist... so I downloaded my first album to YouTube:

I have 6 albums in all, so I will add more when I have time. I began putting these pieces together in an attempt to reconstruct ancient musical concepts. I have tried many different genres, adding an eclectic or experimental twist. I spent some time working with noise and dissonance. I tried making pieces that were alien -- not sounding quite like music to humans. Many of these experiments were not saved.

I don't play The Elders Scroll Online but I am glad their music has fans. This is quite beautiful.

It says it is the end credits I did not think the ES online had an ending? So I don't know about that. Either way this fan based song is beautiful I hope you enjoy it.

So here's a bit of deep down country from the middle of the US I hope you enjoy this find.

A little progressive jazz, a little Celtic, a lot of country... Very nice. Reminds me of Cherokee Country music.
