Gopher's Minions

The only problem with this is Pocahontas should be singing in Algonquin not English.

Tarzan is also a possible problem since the location is mythical, but technically it should be sung in Mangani, the invented language of this land.

Aladdin was not Arabian but Syrian and the language spoken during the Ottoman Empire was Turkish.

But, many of these tales are so old that tracing the original language would be impossible. Many of these songs would have to be sung in extinct languages.

I like to make playlists that I use as 'soundtracks' for my novel to listen to while I write so I'm inspired by their tone. I think this one's going on the list :) Thank you! I'll have to check out the rest of his work.

Speaking of my novel's 'soundtrack' this song is my hero's theme: 'The Opened Way' from Shadow of the Colossus. SotC is the one game on console I'd love to see @Gopher play if he ever decided to do a few console games. It's much too difficult for me to beat but the atmosphere and story are stunning-- and all told without words.

I sometimes write to music but this is too distracting for me. I get caught up in something like this and don't write. Or worse, I assume the reader will be stoked on the same music and then when I reread what I wrote it seems flat.
