Merge Plugins tool

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used this tool?  I saw a video on YouTube for it, and it apparently works for Fallout 3, New Vegas, Fallout 4, Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition.  It's supposed to help clean up your load order to get more stability.  I would like to know if it works well, or is it kind of out of date since it hasn't been updated.

I have used it. It embeds the mods you choose in a single mod without resolving conflicts between them. So you want to be careful what you merge unless you are good with the editor.

Sometimes it works fine and other times I have gotten problems that were not present in the separate mods.

Mostly I was thinking of using it to merge patches into one.  SSE is reporting 260 mods, but some of them are CC things and some are light files, so don't count as full mods.

Gopher does this. He should do a tutorial on how and why and what to not do.
