  1. Gopher, you keep saying you have loads of Fat Mommas, but you haven't actually crafted a single one from what we can see. I believe you are confusing the Fat Mommas with the Fatboys which you do have loads of. Fat Mommas are crafted from Fatboys and are twice as powerful as them. Fat Mommas are the best ammunition in the game, they are absurdly powerful and well worth making. Don't ignore them. When fighting the most heavily armoured Authority goons, they should be your ace in the hole, especially if you don't want to destroy the loot with explosives.
  2. Ok, we need to get Gopher a winged horse, bit failing that, donate him a few stacks of fireworks so he can elytra fly and won't need to cheat as much. We also need to get an admin to teach him about zh so he can use his horses more and get minions to replace the missing animals at his farm. Also explain to him that he can breed mooshrooms and regular cows and milk mooshrooms. Also have someone point Gopher to this:http://journeymap.info/Download All you need to do Dark Lord is put the .jar file in C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods or whichever drive you have it under. Assuming you have Forge installed which you must as you use Optifine. Jeancle, World Tree has come such a long way since I toured it and it was just a hollow shell, looks incredible inside, I see its still a wip outside, well something that big takes time doesn't it. As for that Cathedral... wow. BTW, ius there a warp for Throne Room? there should be.
  3. I heard that the original company bought back Payday 2 from whoever they sold it too and they have ditched the stupid damage bonus zebra skins and its now the same great game it used to be.
  4. Hi guys, I have tried streaming a couple of times in the past and wanted to give it another go http://wwww.twitch.com/brinontwitch I was thinking of trying out DOOM 2016 live tonight (8/8/2016, 20:00 British Standard Time, http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Brin+Plays+DOOM&iso=20160808T20&p1=136) EDIT: MAY BE LATE... Thanks to anyone who comes and watches
  5. You seriously have to check out Fallout Shelter again Gopher. In addition to the ability to craft Legendary weapons and clothing which has been around for a while, you can now send dwellers out on quests.
  6. Not sure where to leave this comment so I assume this is the best place. Just caught up on a past Twitch stream and I so wish Gopher had not broken one of his own rules, not to discuss politics.I very disappointed with his insensitive and inaccurate comments about the UK leaving the European Union on his “Mod Testing : Immersive HUD Lite | Very Hard Difficulty” stream. He really needs to get his facts right before giving his opinions to what is mainly a younger audience who mostly are not living in the UK and may not know or understand why the UK choose to leave the EU. It always seems the way for those who leave the UK and live elsewhere are all too quick to knock it just because they could not make it here. Disappointing. I used to like his Videos.
  7. Edited again with italic explanations. Gopher's new character is: A massive fatso with 10 agility, This prompted me to say: ROFL. And 1 int, this could be fun, assuming they kept the dimwit response laughs from the earlier games. I really hope he keeps the live-streams of this going. He is essentially making a comedy character, a very sarcastic and selfish one, its very funny. He is playing on console 30fps cap and of course a controller, which he has almost no experience with. That frame-rate is really painful though, really painful. And I am starting to see the problem with the voiced protagonist now, it really does not match the character Gopher is now playing. The least they could have done is give a pitch slider so you could make the same voice gruff, whiny, etc. One thing Gopher, if you leave the rumble on and can get used to it, its often useful feedback as to whether you are being shot or not. But yeah, it is annoying sometimes. He made a comment about hammers should be usable as weapons, something which I am fairly sure I have thought myself a number of times, anyway: Oh, so need a hammers are weapons mod now. Oh god, once he gets outside (the vault) the frame rate is even worse, its making my eyes hurt and I am three meters from my screen when I watch this. Would love to see this Let's Play, but on console? Needs to be a way to make it run smoother. Hopefully that'll be one of the first mods. The cotroller hotkey system, three slots in each cardinal direction on d-pad. Yeah the new favourite system is very wonky, I much prefer the NV one, I mean this one does offer 12 slots as opposed to 7, but at least in the old system it was one button press to switch weapons, even if half the time the angled slots chose a side slot by mistake, still better than the new system. That's what the paddles (on his fancy new Elite Xbone controller) should be for, extra hotkeys. Trying to decide on whether to specialise in automatic or non-automatic weapons, bearing in mind that Gopher cannot aim to save his life with a controller. Certainly should focus on automatic weapons if you do continue this save further into the game Gopher. With spray 'n 'pray you won't have to worry about precision aiming so much, useful for when VATS isn't an option. On choosing whether to go for a comic look with vault suit under leathers on his tubby bruiser (his face is literally covered in bruises), or just leathers and well is is playing a bad guy, insomuch as this game lets you. Definitely want to be the bad guy, but I think metal armour, leather is to cool looking for Barry. Yes, Metal Hoon. Oh Just realised the perfect companion for Barry, after his comments in the museum. We weren't that bad... The British are coming back, took a while, but we are taking the country back. Framerate making him nauseous is a running commentary, quite understandably, now he mentions he feels the character is drunk. Heh, if you feel like the character is drunk, make that part of it, Barry is a boozer. Won't help the nausea though sadly. Speaking of which, when you are climbing the lava tower in Minecraft, why don't you just close your eyes to avoid getting dizzy? You should really all know what I mean here, you meet Garvey and he says, right, grab the PA and go nuts, not played the wife, but if he says the same.. well.. it really annoys me. PA needed training in every other game. God the early power armour thing still bothers me, its alright for the ex-soldier, but if you were playing the wife? Raiders wearing it is also as annoying. PA should require training, need a mod that gives you -5 or 10 dex, -5 or 10 agility and -5 charisma if you don't have the Power Armor Training perk, which comes free with the male character, but otherwise is obtained after becoming a Brotherhood Knight or else can be learned from some cool cats one might encounter, and perhaps a book in some old bunker, if you have enough int and the right perks. There is one good way to learn controller aiming, play the original Halo (remastered). Its actually very well set up for training controller noobs, plus the remastered edition runs at 60fps on XBone iirc. If you can get used to it, well, Halo is just a fantastic game, H3 isn't bad either. But for a pc efficienado like yourself, yeah it'll never be as good as KM. After 2 and a half hours and completing the rescue Garvey quest he has had enough for one night, and gets into an argument about synth rights with the chat for half an hour. Or to put it more accurately, he gets abstractly philosophical and goes on about how does anyone know that they are not the only "sentient" being in the entire world. Sapient, not sentient. Thought you knew that. A dog is sentient. The capacity to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively Which applies to synths if you are merely concerned that they are able to suffer, its an animal rights argument. Sapient, as in Homo sapien (lt. Wise Man); is the correct word to use when discussing the concept of free will, individuality, self awareness, etc. Gods dam Roddenberry to Heck for getting it wrong in a show which has shaped science-fiction concepts for the past 50 years.
  8. Its not just the voice acting that doesn't work for Barry, its also now quite clear that there are no low intelligence or failed-skillcheck responses. Yet another example of this game being watered down compared to previous games. No comic low intelligence dialogue, no comic skill-fail dialogue. Also, among many other missing things, no prostitutes. It still irks me as a thematic and immersion thing more than anything else; the world's oldest industry is a major part of all previous games and yet its conspicuously absent here, In Diamond City which doesn't have everything, but also in Goodneighbor which is supposed to be vice-central and Bunker Hill where one would expect services which caravan guards would want to avail themselves of. On another note, a VATS note. Better sights greatly improve VATS accuracy, so for a VATS run you should put the most powerful sight you can on pretty much every weapon, except maybe one or two you want to keep for free-aim.
  9. I was just watching Gopher's stream from last Saturday, MODS I'd like to see (not sure how long that link will remain valid). At 21:20 he's talking about the need for a way to see what a settler is assigned to, not noticing that he is in fact demonstrating the existing mechanic right there on screen – A terrible, rudimentary mechanic in desperate need of improvement, but existing nonetheless. The fact that assigned objects light up when you highlight the associated settler is completely inadequate, and a sort of assignment overview screen is absolutely necessary (The free iphone game had one, so why not the major AAA game?), but it's kinda humorous to see Gopher talking about the need for something while actively demonstrating its existence in one of the very few scenarios where it actually sorta works, i.e. when the settler and his objects are on-screen at the same time.
  10. Hi everyone! I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if Gopher's reaction to both the Fallout 4 Official Trailer and the E3 conference is still on his Twitch channel somewhere? I've seen them on there once and I cannot find them anymore. Maybe I'm just silly and not looking in the right spot? I looked through the past broadcasts section and it only goes down to a certain point.

  12. Hey guys! Just wanted to drop a line about our stream and the group behind it I co-founded in 2009 called Forced Fable. A little background... When we first started the group it was just two people. Myself, and a long time friend of mine, Tyler. At the time we were both still in the Marine Corps, and had been through everything together. Bootcamp, MOS school, two duty stations, three deployments. If he is anything, he is my brother. Anyway, we started the group on Tumblr, and bought a domain name, for the purpose of writing. The goal was to write a book in The Elder Scrolls universe (this was just before that one book... about the floating island that created zombies and the people on the island ate essences). We also started doing simple excerpts from ideas we brainstormed. After a while, we realized we could try to expand a bit into the YouTube side. This is where it breaks off a bit. Tyler and I ended up going to different duty stations (he went to Okinawa, I went to North Carolina). He also had a kid with his wife, and had a lot on his plate. I decided to take up the majority of the work and did what I could, without truly knowing what I was doing. Fast forward a few years. Now we have six people in the group (including Tyler and I) with another prospect being looked at. We do mainly live streams now. This sucks, because we had some good stuff posted on our YouTube channel. We haven't had any content added to the channel in a long time. The website gets the occasional article when our writer, Ben, is able to get something to me. From the beginning I've been a huge advocate of this: Family and full-time jobs come first. What we've been able to make, people have enjoyed. It isn't constant, because the majority of us simply can't provide the time needed for a decent flow of content. This is a "hobby-job," as my wife calls it, and it can't take center stage. For most of my group, they have jobs and lives. I am finishing college and stay at home while my son goes to full-time day care. I have some time, when I'm not worrying or doing other things, to add content. But I don't have the time or ability to add the content to all the different platforms we put ourselves on. Initially, we did. We were good. Then life caught up with the majority of my guys, and now we provide what we can, when we can. Anyway, sorry for the long post. I'm not expecting anything, just wanted to put our group out there and see if the stuff we made was enjoyable. We stream when we can, at the moment it's mainly Chris and Luke (GameOder and Gaedikus if you ever drop by) with my streams starting back up soon. All of our information can be found in my signature block below. Thanks for reading, if you did!
  13. Ok so yeasterday someone mentioned an add-on for Chrome and Firefox called "ReChat" that lets you see the chat chronologically as it appeared when you watch VoDs. Tried it, works fine. Can't remember the name of the person because the post he/she mentioned it got lost, as did his/her introduction post (it was one of the newest members; the name started with an "s", something like shuriken, shuringen, dunno), so can't give him/her credit.
  14. I didn't know this kind of thing was allowed. I have both a YouTube channel as I mentioned in my greetings post: www.youtube.com/brianiangoodman but I also have a streaming channel on twitch: www.twitch.tv/openworldaddict. I don't have a set schedule for streaming yet because I am still get the schedule of my new life coordinated. If I stream, I will post an announcement on it on my YouTube channel as well as on Twitter, Google+, and Facebook. I mostly stream on the weekends, sometimes I'll stream on a monday or friday. Most of my streaming is done in the late morning or afternoon, with 11 am the earliest and 3 pm the latest. That is pacific standard time, though because I do live on the west coast of the United states, so if you want to watch my stream you'll have to take that into consideration. (It would most likely be too late for people in Europe to watch, but people in Australia, the pacific islands, or asia would not be too late for.) What I stream will depend on my mood. Last weekend I started streaming Endless Space, and I am not done with the map so I might stream it again next weekend. I usually upload most of my streaming footage to YouTube. Many times I will stream to twitch (it's just easier) but on occasion i will stream to YouTube (Endless Space was streamed to YouTube last weekend in hopes that I will get more watchers). Note: I stream whether or not anyone is watching. If someone does come and watch and chat, that is fine, they are not just welcome but appreciated. However that doesn't stop me from streaming if no one comes. I use music from machinimasound during the wait periods on my stream (during setup and breaks), as well as music that i created for my channels using Sony Acid Music Studio, an excellent way to create music that won't be copyright tagged without having to record a single track. This is because it uses audio loops and if you have a good ear for music, you can put something together that sounds good. Great program. I just have one question: I recently payed for another 18 month license for Xsplit broadcaster. However I tried streaming Skyrim with it and all that happened is it made the game freeze every time I launched it. It was very frustrating, although I have yet to try it out with other games because at this time i have a good OBS setup. Does anyone know why that would happen? One more thing to add, I would like to stream group multiplayer events if allowed.
