  1. Okay, got a sweet deal on a SteamLink (And then I had to get a keyboard and mouse because I didn't realize I needed them) and I was wondering if you can use the various script extenders (F4SE, NVSE, SKSE, etc) through the link, or no? Because if all I can play through this is the Portal games, I'm going to be slightly miffed.
  2. I noticed this, and because it is one of the things I am working on with a Science study group, I thought others might be interested... The explanation is not quite right. Qubits give only the standard (0,1) answers when polled. However, the inherent value may be anywhere on a sphere of possible values, so values near the equator (marginal significance) may give either answer. This uncertainty of value makes qubits very unreliable for storing fixed information so they would not be very good for graphics. [Also, at present, qubits only hold values for a very short time.] This same uncertainty can be used in certain calculations that are producing approximations to get a good value quicker (fewer iterations) and produces something resembling a nerves response in the brain. Simulated neural networks would behave similar to a human brain. This is true simulated intelligence. This does not mean such a brain (with sensors) would be self-aware. However, such intelligence might be capable of carrying out autonomous tasks of analysis and hypothesis... effectively simulating true thinking. The current best use is in mathematical approximations. My study group thinks they may provide proof of quantum postcausation. This could produce a computer that could "see" the past or the future. One application that is actually being worked on is to stabilize the stock market.
  3. Only... it appears not to have saved to youtube yet.. will get back to you.
  4. So a friend of mine is going to be giving me a brand new Blue Yeti mic, and I'm looking to upgrade to a set of good 7.1 surround sound headphones. I know we have a few regular audiophiles that peruse our forums, so I'd like to hear their suggestions on a pair of cans that'd go with my underused sound card I paid top dollar for, lol.
  5. A discussion created for people to post their pc builds and have others review them, check for issues, or simply advise on. Here is mine. Is everything compatible? Do I need any other parts? What do you think of the parts? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t3X7xr
  6. Hello! I've been watching Gopher for a couple of years now. I mostly care about the Fallout stuff but other things may appear that gets my attention. I'm from Norway, i live close to Gopher i think. But i'm not gonna waste my time finding him. Other than that i just wanted to say hello to other people here. I have no idea what kind of people lurk around here but i'm hoping they are nice. Anyhoo that was all. Take care.
