  1. Hello Gopher! Hi all! I’ve been lurking in the minionhood for a long time (6 years). I tuned in to Gopher’s channel at the time of the earliest Skyrim Mod Sanctuaries, and Stiv. The role-playing, the storytelling and the humour has kept me pinned to this day. Gopher himself may actually remember me giving him pointers on how to EQ his audio when he splurged on a non-chat-headset mic that naturally had heavy low frequency response. It was during a Stiv chapter, can’t remember which. We communicated via YouTube’s PM system back when there actually was one (the days of YouTube yore). He thanked me on a video intro (Whoa! Squealing like a schoolgirl here, man! ). Glad I could help. Gopher’s let’s plays (and YouTube videos in general) were at the time the only way for me to experience the art of games and gaming since I didn’t have the funds for a PC decent enough to run a modern game. For that I am eternally grateful. It was a really dark time in my life. At such times you tend to instantly gravitate to any light that you can see. Gopher’s brand of entertainment is one such light. It was really inspiring to observe his path. When he still had a day-job and was balancing his family life in three directions, I was (we all were) rooting for him to succeed in his venture and dedicate himself to this full time. I am glad he achieved this goal. I will be happy to support him in the future in any way I can. Anyway, gang, I feel like I know you all, you beautiful people. It’s such a positive community and I feel proud to be a part of it. I have since somewhat upgraded my system and it will run older games. I haven’t had the time to play though. I still don’t but the urge is overwhelming. I will be looking for modding advice on the other forums, starting with The Witcher: Enhanced edition. See you around. Well, I’ll see YOU. I’m still not fully out of lurk mode, pardonne-moi. Short-list o’facts: Favourite game(z): …anything Gopher's already played, TES Oblivion, Fallout 1&2, Deus EX, Thief Deadly Shadows, Sid Meier’s Pirates, also some Amiga games like The Settlers (Serf city in the U.S.), Sensible World of Soccer (many-a-joystick perished), Benefactor (check the avatar), Monkey Island series, Syndicate, Cannon Fodder, Dreamweb... I’m a musician. Instrument of choice: guitar. I love listening to game soundtracks. Music in games is often what I need for a good gaming experience. Favourite game soundtracks: Jeremy Soule’s Skyrim score. The Witcher soundtracks. Favourite OST tracks: - Jeremy Soule - The Streets of Whiterun (I listen to this before meditation) - Piotr Musial - The Slopes of the Blessure (never fails to draw a tear...) I shed a tear when the Witcher playthroughs ended. Thank you, Gopher, for a beautiful ride.
  2. ...obligatory, awkward, predictable. I have sweaty palms so I've always hated the practice. But that's neither here nor there...it's sort of in the middle, between fingers and wrist. I'm going to bed now. Clearly I should've ages ago, but some insensible urge overtook me to poke the sleeping forum bear and see what happened. Perhaps nothing. Perhaps it will simply yawn and go back to sleep. ...sorry, what I mean is, hello, I like the Gopher-y things, you all like the Gopher-y things, lovely to make your acquaintance ^^
  3. Greetings Minions, Just felt like writing a little intro of myself. I've gonna by the name Handyrefuse(anagram of my real name) for many years, but mostly respond to Handy. I've been a casual fan of Gopher for awhile. Discovering him a some years ago as I got into modding FO3/NV/4 and Skyrim. Recently got back into those games and watched his modding vids again. Never really got into watching streams or Let's Plays of anyone before. Decided to try watching his FNV Let's Play and became instantly hooked on this and many of his other Let's Plays. It's gotten so bad that I've been watching pretty much only his Let's Plays and ignoring my own gaming and tv show episodes are piling up. They're so addicting to watch! I had to join the forum to try and be more of a part of this great community of Minions. As for me, I'm pretty boring. I mainly game on PC, but have a PS4 for some exclusives. I like watching TV/Movies, some reading when I feel that itch. Some Anime/Manga here and there, but pretty much just One Piece nowadays. Enough rambling, never know what to say... So Hi Everyone! Handy
  4. Hi there, I'm Lilli. Been modding skyrim for a few years now but never really found the perfect load order. I came here in hopes to connect with people who could set me up with a really nice mod list after a few conversations regarding the mods i prefer. I aim to someday be making fully voiced followers on the Nexus but first I need a stable game So uh yeah... thats why im here... also Gopher's vids rock. K thanks for reading
  5. Hello fellow minions, I am new here (duh!), though I have watched Gopher's videos for a long time (I think I started watching somewhere in 2014). Anyway, about me, I like writing, both fanfiction and non-fanfiction, though almost always in a magic setting. I have created several characters, centering around the character Jerion 'Wyverntamer' Kràl, and no, my account isn't named after him, it is the other way around. I used to play a lot of games, but due to messing something up in the settings of my laptop, it doesn't work that well anymore, so I pass my time mostly writing and reading fanfiction. I also go to middle school in the Netherlands (equivalent to the American high school). And I really, really enjoy all kinds of music with sensible lyrics, it's rare to see me without at least one earbud in nowadays. That's about it. I hope to have a great time here! Wyverntamer
  6. I haven't been watching as long as most but I've been watching a good few years, joining the Discord and forums only recently. I'm an avid TES Lore Nerd, specialising in the Daedra and Dunmeri cultures, to the point where I think it's an obsession. I once spent 2 months designing altars, associations, and offerings for each of the 17 Princes. I'm also a writer and artist, specialising in traditional drawings. I don't have a scanner or drawing tablet but I try my best to share my pieces. I've included some under the spoiler if you want to take a look. I've been working on my own fantasy world, Ninewater, for about a year now. If you want to hear about it, feel free to ask, but feel free to tell me if I'm boring the socks off of you. Looking forward to talking on here!
  7. Hello everyone, my name is TimtheBigDaddy but please call me Tim. I've been a fan of Gophers for a long while so I finally decided to join the forum. I love video games, science (Especially astronomy), history, art, acting, movies, mythology, science fiction, puzzles and a whole bunch of other things that I can't fit here.
  8. I've been watching Gopher on Youtube for a little over two years now and with the semi-recent opening of his MC server, I've decided to create an account here on the forums. I'm not new to the server, but I feel like I've been missing out on everything going on here in the forums, so I've finally decided to introduce myself. My name is Gor1s in MC, I thought it was a fitting alternative to Goris (since it was taken) but it seems it looks more like Gorls. Oh well. Anyway, I hope to see more of you in the future!
  9. Hello all! Thought i'd say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I've been watching Gopher for years now but only just got around to officially joining his minion army. It'll be a pleasure to meet you all. Have a good day, everyone!
  10. Hey my username/persona is usually Velocifaptor. I enjoy watching let's plays, primarily done by Gopher, DasTacTic, Arumba, Quill18, and Game Grumps. I enjoy watching anime, I've been watching airing seasons since 2006, and have seen many older series, I'd consider myself a rather fluent watcher. I've dabbled in making text based games mainly using C# and Visual Studio, along with the standard .Net library. I used to play WoW since vanilla, but in 2014 I subscribed to EVE Online and wish I had started sooner. I started playing the Elder Scrolls at Morrowind, I started playing Fallout at Fallout 3. I enjoy lot's of games, but I'm rather picky nowadays about the titles I buy. In general I enjoy CRPG's like Pillars of Eternity and its older descendants. I love Open world RPG's like Bethesda's titles and games like Mount and Blade Warband. I enjoy Bloodbowl, Warcraft 3 Custom Games, Civilization IV along with mods like Rise From Erebus, Borderlands and Borderlands 2 which I've played with the same group of friends since forever ago. I enjoy strategy games like Endless Legend, Endless Space, Out of the Park Baseball 16, Total War, Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings, and Sins of a Solar Empire. I bought Anno 2070 and Factario but I think I'm done doing that as I doubt any city management game that will ever come after will replace Dwarf Fortress for me. I play tabletop games a lot, boardgames like puzzle strike, ticket to ride, pandemic, and Go. Cardgames like Netrunner, Killer Bunnies, dominion, many, many deck builders of varying sorts. Tabletop RPGs such as Pathfinder, D&D 5e/3.5, and my current favorite system to run called GURPS(Generic Universal Role Playing System). Sorry for the wall of text I just thought I'd spit a bunch of stuff out and see what sticks. Picking anime that I like always ends in a giant list so I'd rather not discuss it in the opening post. If I had to pick a list of my favorite series it would be a lot of the same that you'd see anywhere with some random bits sprinkled in, stuff like Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, Evangelion, Madoka Magica, Cowboy Bebop, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, and less known things like Hyouge Mono, Kemono no Souja Erin, You are Umasou, Jin-Roh and many other films and shows.

Hello everyone, just wanted to say hi and introduce my self. My name is Marko and I come from a third world, underdeveloped, radioactive wasteland that is my country, pretty much like the Commonwealth, but hey I love it. I cant complain if i have internet and a few games to pass the free time, starting with Skyrim, which is when i originally found Gopher's channel, I became interested in mods and modding my games to the best of my outdated PC's abilities so I thought I would join up with you people. As you might have guessed by the profile picture, I'm a big fan of the Witcher universe but i love all games and all genres so give a call if you want to play anything online. So there you go I hope I will somehow find a way to contribute to this community in the future and with all said and done remember as always have fun!
  12. My name is Jordan, but most of the time I'm called Criminal Scum. One kid called me Arena Grand Champion, but he's gone now . . . I guess the reality is that I'm an Elder Scrolls guy. Fallout is nice and diverting between installments but I can't wait to begin life as a prisoner again. I started watching Gopher's mod sanctuary series just before the Richard play through and watched most of that series and then all of Jack's adventures. I have a nice gaming computer and I make more of a hobby out of building and modifying it than playing games on it. When I do play games they're single player (Aaand loving it!) I'm really looking forward to No Man's Sky right now (I swear by the nine that it's my last preorder! [they do more damage to the industry than good for my library.]) Anyway, being a single father with two babies, it's the honest truth that in most of my conversations I'm either called "da-da" or "The Hero of Kvatch!" So maybe it's time I try to plug into some kind of community type place. Anyhow, I look forward to whatever interaction type things you do around here.
  13. Hello friends! I'm Silz! Wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I'm a very good friend of @heraldofmanwe and it was through him that I first learned about Gopher several years ago after my first foray into Bethesda gaming. I'm in college working towards an English Writing degree with minors in Philosophy and Linguistics. I love everything Gopher's up to and it was through his channel that I began to use mods in games (previously I was purely console, having grown up with a GameCube and Xboxs). I enjoy writing of all kinds, but my hero is JRR Tolkien. I'm pretty much just a huge lovable (I hope) geek. So yeah. Sorry to interrupt, carry on!
  14. Hello! Some of you may already know me, but I expect a lot of you don't. It's been a long time since I've been on here, but here I am again! I've got a lot of interests, but games are my biggest one (my favourite remains Fallout New Vegas)! I'm currently a student, and I love the sciences and languages (ask @JHORDEE, by the way, meine Deustch ist besser jetzt. (Is that right?)). I'm learning German, Russian, French, Swedish and Norwegian too, but I speak Gujarati and Hindi at home. I also love Computing and computers - I spend a lot of my time on one! Reading is also a past time of mine; I'm reading the Godfather at the moment. I'd love to get more involved with the community, speak to more people, maybe even play games with a few. I hope I can, and knowing the Minions, they'll help. See you around, Brin
  15. Howdy ya'll just noticed that I haven't introduced myself in my hurry to jump right into your discussions. I can't say as you may see much from me on this forum as I fell out of regular forum usage a while ago, but I hope to pop by time and again. I dunno if it's relevant, but I am from Texas, so my particular vernacular may seem a bit off at times. Heck, I don't think it really matters much, but seeing as I've confused folks before it is probably best I give ya'll a heads up. I really got into watching Gopher do his lets plays after I watched his modding new vegas help series off the Nexus Mod Manager's website. I think he was about 6 episodes into his Stiv playthrough when it all started. Its rather interesting to see what has grown around him in that time as his watchers increased in numbers, so did it become a whole new beast in the comments section. What really attracted me to his lets plays was the fact that he was always very calm and composed without being obnoxiously loud. his control of the voice volume never overwhelmed the ingame sound, so unlike other mainstreamers his was actually pleasant to listen to. I confess I was among the crowd that from time to time would just scream at Gopher, you missed it, like you had the cursor on it and everything you just had to hit the activate button and now at the end of the episode you're on the other side of the map from it! GAH! We still get that way don't we? Hehe. One thing you're goingt o need to know about me
  16. Hi there! I am a new member of this here community and I figured this would be a great place to get some tips on everything from modding, videomaking and the like. I've been smitten with Gophers content for nearly 2 years now and have loved every bit of it! That's all from this humble fanboy. All the best!
  17. Hi all! Long time fan, first time forum poster. Came to Gopher through finding his original Skyrim LPs and have enjoyed every minute of them, as well as many of his other series. Was happy to support on Patreon when the option came, for the hours of entertainment. Can't wait to see what adventures await in Fallout4! ~Greg
  18. Hello! I've been watching Gopher for a couple of years now. I mostly care about the Fallout stuff but other things may appear that gets my attention. I'm from Norway, i live close to Gopher i think. But i'm not gonna waste my time finding him. Other than that i just wanted to say hello to other people here. I have no idea what kind of people lurk around here but i'm hoping they are nice. Anyhoo that was all. Take care.
  19. I've been a minion for a few years now, though aside form the streams i haven't been very involved in the community. i was watching minions monthly today and gopher mentioned that the fourms on his website that he hasn't even "released" yet are actually very active. so i decided now would be a good time to get involved in the community and here I am. also the role playing came for that too although it seems that the two ongoing RP's are inactive so that's sad i supose a bio is in order or something Alias's here Jay Sream: Jay15951 youtube: Jay Y. Nexus: JayY15951 Hobies: watching youtube videos. mostly Let's Plays playing video games, favorite genre being RPG and favorite series being The Elder Scrolls participating in Gopher's streams anyway nice to meet you all
  20. Hello Everyone, long time fan of Gopher and have recently decided to exterminate get more involved with the community! During his Livestream I go by the name of TheMadEscapist. I'm of Irish/English stock so expect me to take the piss out of everything with sarcasm and cynicism.
  21. Hello everyone, decided to finally introduce myself, I am not a new minion just new to posting here. I live in Las Vegas, aka sin city. I like games obviously or i wouldn't be here, particularly elder scrolls and fallout, I like food, anime, and making new friends which I hope to make many here. Ive already made some awesome friends on the vanilla minecraft server. I am not good at introductions so I f you want to know more just ask
  22. Hello Minions! I've been a big fan of Gopher's for a while now and I think I ought to say hello. My vigor tester score always comes out with such a low charisma that I never really feel the need to seek people out, but here I am any way. To much Intense Training I suppose. Anyway, Hello all! Don't mind the profile pic I made it pre Unity...
  23. Hello all, I’ve been following Gopher’s YouTube channel for quite some time now (since the humble beginnings of our glorious leader, Stiv), and for some reason, I’ve only now decided to make an account on the forums. Anyway, I go by DanHamilton3rd on most services, and no, my last name is not actually Hamilton, nor am I the 3rd in my line. Go figure. You can call me Dan, though, because that part is correct. I also go by Apex on steam. Good luck finding me amidst all the other Apexes (Apices?) out there . I’m Polish-American, so you can be sure that I’ll mispronounce every word in the dictionary, and lose most wars that I find myself in (apologies to my fellow Poles out there). I like to mod games in my spare time, and I’ve played far too much Oblivion for my own good. I also play Planetside quite often, you’ll see me on the Jaeger Waterson Emerald server as DanHamilton3rd. I look forward to meeting all of you!
  24. Greetings Minions. Now that I finally joined the forum, I thought a short introduction was in its place. I'm an old-school gamer from Trodheim (Norway). I started playing games back in the early 90's when my father bought his first PC. The first game I really "fell in love with" was Ishar: Legend of the Fortress. Brilliant game in my opinion. About the same time I also started playing my first online game, VikingMUD (textbased). I played Everquest a little bit before Anarchy Online was launced in 2001. Another brilliant game in my opinion. I just loved the complexity of it. From there on I've touched alot of MMO's (World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 1/2 etc). For my singel player games I really enjoy story-driven RPG games. The Dragon Age series and Mass Effect series are probably my favourites. Of course the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games are high up on the list aswell. I've also played alot of RTS and turn-based games. Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, Warcraft, Starcraft, UFO, X:Com and so on (You get the picture). I also used to play quite abit of tabletop RPG's. In spesific Marvel Superheroes, Dungeons & Dragons and Vampire Masquerade/Dark Ages. I'm and avid reader. I normally read about one book a week. Fantasy and Sci-Fi being my favourite genres. Trudi Canavan, Ian Irvine and of course George R. R. Martin being my favourite authors. This pretty much reflects my TV series and movie preferances aswell. Babylon 5, Stargate (all 3 series), Battlestar Galactica and so on. Oh yea, and I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Yes I do. I've been following Gopher on YouTube since one of his first videos and have probably watched almost all the videos on his main channel. All the Let's Play series are particular favourites along with Skyrim Mod Sanctuary. I also found the tutorial videos very informative and interesting. Allthough I consider myself quite capable of modding games and such, there is no doubt that many mod authors are not too good at documentation and that RTFM is a well know abbreviation i the modding community. I, along with many others I would imagine, found these videos very helpfull and I would like to thank you Gopher for those (and all of the other stuff of course). But, enough rambling. That's a little about my nerdy alter ego.
  25. Hi everyone, I'm Brin (not my real name, but feel free to call me Brin)! I'm Indian, but have lived in England for most of my life. I've been part of the community for a couple of years now: I'm a Patron, and probably going to subscribe on Twitch within the week. I love the arts (art, music and drama), science and maths (odd combo?) I like reading, my favourite book being "Stuff Matters" by Mark Miodownik. My favourite game (other than Skyrim) has to be Metro: 2033. I loved the book too. I like computers, and would love to talk about them with you guys. And of course, I love Gopher's Videos. My favourite TV series is Breaking Bad, and my favourite film is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. So, that's it! I hope to be seeing more of you, and I hope you hope to see more of me. See you around,. Brin (@GCBrin on Twitter, GCBrin on YouTube, BrinOnTwitch on Twitch)
