  1. So yeah, the GTA V stream I tried the other day only managed to record 5 minutes of a 2 hour play, probably because I closed the internet down, won't make that mistake again. Such a waste, I complained about all sorts of things, from griefers to steering wheels blocking the view of the speedometer and sadly you missed it all. On more positive news, I have started recording my current Fallout 4 playthrough, using Shadowplay to avoid fps loss, so it tends to cut out without warning, still its processing. Created a playlist for it, will try GTA again when I next play it. Still need to finish my house in Minionland too... Second video is still processing when I posted this btw. Going to bed now, its 4am.
  2. Alright, this time the races are going to be a bit different. There will be 1 or 2 medieval-style games before the races, and the race track will be moved to make way for them. Also, I would like to ask on what days in February you guys have off so I can schedule accordingly and make sure that everyone can show up (@Quarico, if you are reading this, pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top "pester" Gopher for me and ask if he would like to participate as well. :P) Other than that, and the exclusion of pigs and donkeys (sorry about that, but as fun as it was to watch the pig races, race track is gonna be way bigger and no I won't say how big), everything will be just like before. Donation boxes will be open if you want to donate anything. Hope to see you guys there soon.
  3. A letter.

There is a game in which I think both Gopher and us Minion's would enjoy, so I've written a letter about it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-UwS6x0iL_kWi_Y8XPQdGU1BS8rhr6go_dSJ4_ZYAxA/edit?usp=sharing Should you have any more questions on it or wish to discuss it further, post them here. -Lech.
  4. Gopher: Heresay but...

I heard that the original company bought back Payday 2 from whoever they sold it too and they have ditched the stupid damage bonus zebra skins and its now the same great game it used to be.
  5. Stivarstead Hold is our Minecraft server. It's slightly modded but it doesn't have heavy tech mods like IC2 or BuildCraft. Everyone is welcome here. Some people seem to have problems with running out of memory when loading Stivarstead. Make sure you're using 64-Bit Java and have at least 2GB of memory allocated for the game (in launcher options under "java settings" tab). 6. Hey, this is the first post I've ever made here but I wanted to ask Gopher if he has ever considered doing a Let's Play of Morrowind when Open Morrowind enters a more complete stage, and specifically when the Open Morrowind Construction Kit enters a far more developed stage. I realize that, having been a long time fan, that Gopher does enjoy the graphics and combat of newer titles, and most importantly wants to please his fanbase by giving them a more visual/exciting experience during his let's plays. Still, I also know that Gopher enjoys great storytelling, dialogue, and worldbuilding which I personally believe is strongest in the third installment of the elder scrolls. More over the morrowind modding community is still active, and the mod makers for the community, given the games strengths and weaknesses, favor making mods that I think provide the most creative content, things like quests, dungeons, and new lands. This is due in part to the fact that the Morrowind engine has very little voice acting within the game so the barrier to entry in making quest mods is rather low compared to the newer elder scrolls games. Like I said before though I understand that a let's play of Morrowind would not be suitable as a replacement for another fallout 4 playthrough, or something similar, I wanted to suggest that one could be done with episodes that release at a slower pace, and that the game be played at a very deep and immersive pace. Aside from that though I was wondering if there has ever been thought of doing Let's Plays of Dwarf Fortress or Mount and Blade Warband?
  7. Games you wish you could mod?

Was curious if anyone ever stumbled upon a game that you really wished you could mod but later you discovered that it's not possible/very limited due to the lack of necessary tools? I guess I'll start A game i really wish we could mod and was heart broken when i discovered we couldn't was Dishonored. a brilliant game by Arkane Studios and published by Beth(esda) with the lore and art style to engage the player into the world and bask in your character. But i always felt a lack in it, something. That something turned out to be the graphics as I hated to admit. I know that they aimed for a washed out sort of fill to it but I believe that so much more could be "sucked in" from the world if that candle stick was a bit more vibrant colored in the darkness surrounding it. A terror if someone put it off but then you remember that you're the one who would do such a thing, and then you smirk as the guard sits on the chair near the candle >:) Mods could do a lot in a game like this, more diagrams to purchase, more treasure hunts to complete, side quests perhaps, expanding the map sizes that were limited due to the limitations of the consoles, more unique trap variations for the player to avoid or more traps overall, more of everything essentially when we're talking about mods. So yea, felt like posting something since I have trouble sleeping Tell me about the games you wish you could mod bellow :3
  8. I was about a month off given my estimation, though my sources haven't been too far off the mark either. Just surprised it'd be June, then again if Valve is thinking more globally (as they should), June-July would be a better "summer time" for a large portion of the northern hemisphere, as well as Asia which is where Steam (and Valve by extension) is experiencing rocketing growth since 2014, and is only set to keep going this year. The public leak is here, on Reddit. For those interested in taking part of this Steam Sale and are not aware of the Golden Rules, they're basic. Never go below 50-60%. Keep games you are interested in getting on a better deal on your Wishlist, and set a budget WELL in advance, loaded into your Steam Wallet, and do not over-spend.
