I was just wondering, do you guys think that Gopher will take time and make a Skyrim Mod Sanctuary review of the amazing mod Legacy of the Dragonborn that he uses for his Leonard play through? I personally love that mod and have spend countless of hours with it and I just scratched the surface of that mod most likely. I can tell that he enjoys that mod so I was hoping that it would come a Skyrim Mod Sanctuary video for that one. Have an awesome day /MageThief
  3. There's a new, and HUMONGOUS overhaul mod to Fallout 4 called "Horizon", and I was wondering if anyone here had played it, especially Gopher.   4. I know I saw it on a YouTube video, but I can't find it. There's a mod for Fallout 4 that basically makes your high defenses for settlements count, so that you don't have to go to every settlement every time they're attacked. Anyone remember this one?
  5. Title pretty much sums it up. Specifically, the mod manager for Skyrim, if there are any more than one. I saw one in his Special Edition Mod List video, if anyone can tell me it's name?
  6. And there are more... Skingrad, Roscrea, Jindo, Anvil, Chorrol, Borders... It is expected al least two of these will be released in 2018.

As of about a hour ago Elianora, which I'm pretty sure most Skyrim and Fallout mod-users are familiar with, set all her stuff on the Nexus to "Hidden" for the time being after discovering that a secondary platfrom ModDrop (apparently a new incarnation of a well known mod-thief already banned from Nexus several times) uploaded all of her work. Eli already stated on Reddit that she knows that this move won't stop ModDrop, but she's doing it to highlight the problem. Robin/DarkOne from Nexus also chimed in saying that he contacted the ModDrop team already and they just shifted the blame on their users. Apparently this is nothing new and some Nexus users and authors, including Arthmoor, identified the ModDrop team as former Nexus-users banned for stealing and reuploading mods trying to monetize them. Eli added that she will unhide those mods as soon as the word spread among the community of mod-users and authors. Here we got a pretty good coverage of what is going on by Last Level Press.
  8. Hey, are there any mods that add the classic 10mm SMG to Fallout 4? I know there are mods that allow you to turn the 10 MM pistol into a rifle (I have that) and that allow you to change the ammo type for the SMG/Tommy Gun (I have that as well), but neither of those really works. Only one I can find is in Russian and really not well endorsed. (I searched 10MM SMG on Nexus under Fallout 4.)
  9. Hey, I remember reading somewhere there was a mod that you could run that would allow you to recharge your fusion cores as long as they weren't below 1%. Maybe I'm insane and dreamed it, but does anyone know of something like that? So far I'm out of luck on the Nexus.
  10. Has Gopher ever said anything about playing modded minecraft. By modded i mean something like one of the FTb pack. Because i think it would be really fun to watch him figure out mods like ic2, thermal expansion etc.
  11. Please someone, anyone help me. I'm so tired of all this technical issues with pc. I jumped right in off xbox1 with having very little to no pc experience. I love mods and the way the game looks. That being said I bought skyrim the original because it has a ton of mods on nexus. However the game will not load with any mods, cuts out right after Bethesda logo pops up. I don't get error code or anything. I Have nexus mod manager and have been using it for oblivion and skse. Yes, I do own skyrim special edition as well and can mod somewhat ok. I bough the original cause there is like 8x more mods. This does me no good if I cant play the game with mods. If I disable mods the game loads fine. I don't see how it could be mods when no matter what mod it is even the patch it wont load. Getting tired of this and don't know what to do. Please if anyone has any suggestions explain it as simply as possible. Thank you
  12. I really got hooked on mods with xbox and skyrim. I bought a pc so I could get deep into mods. Recently been playing skyrim and have mods threw nmm and haven't had "too" much trouble. Just a couple days ago I downloaded Oblivian and went to the scan part on nexus to get set up. Oblivian never showed up and now when I try to get into my nmm manager a grey box pops up and says skyrim is not set up to work on nexus and if you have game installed, to rescan. On the top of the box it says unrecognized game. The major problem is I cant open nexus to scan any games now because I cant get past the grey box. I really enjoy mods and would like to continue but this is a bit overwhelming. Could anyone please help with terminology for a beginner. I have watched Gophers video on installing Nexus but I need help on getting into it now. PLEASE HELP!
  13. So.. I think I have suggested before to be included in Gopher's Lets Play before, but since Gopher is asking for suggestions (again) I would like to suggest a couple mods, by one of my favorite authors.. which I haven't seen Gopher touch before. (Even in mod review videos) The main one that I think is really good in FNV (that Gopher hasn't touched) is Tales from the Burning Sands, by Puce Moose. It includes a bunch of 'quests', along with a lot of content that i think Gopher (as Jack) would enjoy. It even runs the quests in the way that Gopher would love. Puce Moose is known (he had something like.. 6 quest mods in Fallout 3) to NOT use quest markers. Instead he uses quest objectives as suggestions or hints. He has also released another mod for Fallout New Vegas, that changes gameplay.. which obviously would mean it's too late for Gopher to include in the Jack Let's Play, but for those who are reading this who are also looking for things to include.. there's Puce Moose's Tweak and Balance Center. I would highly suggest reading through the parts of this mod yourself, so that I'm not re-stating things that are already there.
  14. So yeah, the GTA V stream I tried the other day only managed to record 5 minutes of a 2 hour play, probably because I closed the internet down, won't make that mistake again. Such a waste, I complained about all sorts of things, from griefers to steering wheels blocking the view of the speedometer and sadly you missed it all. On more positive news, I have started recording my current Fallout 4 playthrough, using Shadowplay to avoid fps loss, so it tends to cut out without warning, still its processing. Created a playlist for it, will try GTA again when I next play it. Still need to finish my house in Minionland too... Second video is still processing when I posted this btw. Going to bed now, its 4am.

    I'm making this post to inquire about the use of mods on the Minecraft Server. I understand that there is no using anything that would give a player an unfair advantage (I.e. Xray, Hacked clients), but I was wondering if quality of life mods are allows. I understand that HUD minimaps are allowed, but what about mods such as mouse pointer tweaks and inventory tweaks? The end goal of this thread would be to acquire a list of mods that would be allowed that has been compiled by the community.

Hello everyone!I finally got around to starting my first playthrough of Witcher 3.First thing after changing all the in game options to my liking I started modding the game.I installed couple of mods:ShortHairGeralt,GILL_FD and BetterIcons.After I installed those mods,I maked sure they were working and they were,without any problems.Then I wanted to install a mod by Gopher called immersive HUD,I followed all the instructions and I couldn't get it to work.Each time I would start the game I would get a script compiling error and the game wouldn't start.I googled the problem in hope of finding a fix.I found 2 "solutions" and of course I tried both of them,1.was to delete the "hacks" folder in the installation folder of Witcher 3 and 2.was to create telemetykeyword.ws file.Nothing worked,so this is my last effort.I really hope someone can help me with this.   21. So I'm getting ready to start a new playthrough in Skyrim, and I'm aiming for a Kingpin-esque Dark Lord (Necromancer Arch-Mage, Assassin, Thief, Vampire). My thought is to take charge of the darkest aspects of Skyrim, and I need a good suggestion for a player home mod that would be appropriate. I've never actually done a fully evil playthrough (even my vampire playthrough, he was unwilling, and became a vampire hunter type vampre), so I'm completely in the dark (hah. hah. hah.) about the types of sinister dwellings are out there. Thoughts?
  22. I've been playing a lot of TerraFirmaCraft - or more specifically the TechNode Firmacraft modpack - and I've been wondering what other people think of it. More specifically, I've also been wondering if anyone knows of a good public server that runs this mod. I've been able to play with a few friends hosted on my pc every now and then, but I don't really have a good enough internet connection to host for more than 2 or 3 other people at a time, and also I don't know anyone who actually has the patience to learn how the mod works. I would just go ahead and pay for a professional hosting service, but I don't want to spend $40 a month on it, and that's the cheapest hosting service I could find that supports this pack and has good enough performance.

  24. Hey everyone, as a first contribution to this mod section, here's a huge damn mod for Witcher 3 for any people who are still playing it! EDIT: New version posted, if you already downloaded the previous version, please download this one. You just need to drag and drop the Mods folder into Witcher 3 root and overwrite. No additional steps required for the update. It fixes the bug with the Preparation options for restricting talents and level-ups not working. Well, point being, I made it! I would like to look for any people who might want to help test it (it's obviously not done yet, it's at the public alpha stage, it will be in the beta stage when there's only balancing left to be done). The mod is perfectly playable, it should be bug-free, it's fucking expansive (I probably am waay over 10,000 lines of code lol) and has an expansive options menu to go with it (225 options for your customization pleasure). Basically, it overhauls the whole game. That's the short of it, the long of it I will post in a minute. If that is enough incentive for you to try it out (again, it's not just for testing, it's perfectly playable at the moment), then you ought to just scroll down and download it after reading this step: If you are using the talent for medium armor AND wearing any pieces at all, go in-game and remove your armor completely, that's it. Now, for the people who are not convinced and thinking "what's this cunt trying to even say?", here you go: Pastebin Document with Description It's a paste I wrote up for a friend (about 2.5k words if you wanna read that) which lists most (not all) features of the mod and is a smidge outdated. As I stress it in that one, you can find all the information you need in-game, by mousing over skills and reading their description (important to do so and later levels have differing abilities) and opening up your character sheet (press C in your inventory screen) to look at your new and old stats and their modifiers, so you know what to do and what not to do if you want to manage that stat better. If you have any questions, want to talk or whatever else you might need, post on this topic, send me a PM or even better, add me on Steam (and let's be friends! *really awkward hug*) where I am online most of the time and you can expect a quick answer. Any help, feedback or new ideas are appreciated, be they about balancing or new mechanics that I should add. The mod is for the latest version of the game (version 1.22) and is mostly incompatible with other mods. You can freely use texture mods or a mod like AMM (Appearance Mod Menu). Mods like Friendly HUD, Ghost Mode, Preparations, any mod that changes potions in any way, any mod that changes skills, runewords, how skills work, combat, stamina usage, etc are completely and utterly incompatible and even thinking about them will blow your computer up. So for the longest time (after the 1.5 patch went live to be specific), I've had this problem with Fallout 4, where my mods would be installed, plugins activated post-Launcher, .inis adjusted, everything (per Gopher's instructions). However, when i go into the game, the mods simply aren't working. No CTD, no "files missing", nothing. They just don't show up in-game. I've looked around everywhere on sub-reddits, looking back on Gopher's tutorials, going to the Bethesda forums, and none of the fixes are working. It's gotten to the point i don't want to play the game because the experience I've set up for myself, (and the work of those dedicated mod authors that i so dearly want to enjoy), is no longer there. I use LOOT, F4SE version 0.1.14, and NMM, I've tried re-installing the game (with my abhorrent 600kb/s internet speed), re-validating, re-installing NMM and all my mods, and nothing has been resolved. I am pleading for the contributions of anyone with a remote idea of what could help me. Thank you Minions.
