    Fond Fairwell

I never even used banking sites, and I don't know what HOA is... But this flush includes any site I haven't visited in at least 6-12 months: including a few major ones (facebook), several that I only signed up for in case I wanted to do something later (wikias), and a few one-offs that wanted me to sign up just to play a game from steam (Paradox games, for example). I've basically narrowed my activities down to less than 20 sites I'm actually active on. And when I set up my will, I'm going to try to remember to include logins that my attorney could use to properly shut down the rest. I ain't getting any younger, and I don't want to have a zombie presence if unforeseen circumstances befall me. One of my nephew's friends from school died in a car accident recently, which got me thinking about how much time I spend online, among other things. Honestly, I've never felt better. NOTE: I haven't completely gotten rid of these forums just yet, because I knew some of you might want to give helpful feedback. But, after this thread eventually drops by the wayside, that'll be it for here.

I will no longer be visiting these forums. I want to make it clear that this does not mean that I was disappointed with them in any way. I am simply reducing my internet presence because there are too many logins for me to keep track of anymore. Thank you all, for your work, and fun. Don't worry, you'll still see me around Gopher's YouTube and Twitch channels, and possibly even in Discord.

See my "Fond Fairwell" thread for a slightly more in-dept explanation. There's more than one I've posted a-foot. lol

    Insanity

But but... that video's the wrong kind of insane. This is insanely AWESOME. Not insanely crazy. o_O

    A Wild Tobori Appears

That club may be quite useful for when my vintage baseball team is practicing. Rutabagas start flying all over the place. I have a man working on making the rutabagas explosive, but there's been... delays. he assures me he'll be out of lock up in a few years. Anyways, an official welcome is yours. There are many fun things around these parts. Insanity, and Recipe Box are two of the ones I most recommend. Pro-tip. Only visit the Insanity if you are already seeped in it.

    Cool Gift from my Daughter

That's a pretty cool little project. Coasters are a good solid little products. Not so big you have to figure out where to store them, not so small they get lost. And functional too. Your daughter did a pretty good job. Edit: Something something, flying-rutabaga-warning-because-my-vintage-baseball-team-practices nonestop... something... something something... obligatory recipe box link ... something... The Insanity Topic if you're into that sort of thing... something... YEP, think I covered all my bases. Edited Edit: Don't mind my weirdness, just remember to have fun with it!

    The return

[insert clever pun and/or rumors of airborne rutabagas here] Shut up, I'm tired. Heck of a storm outside at the moment, and can't sleep all that well. Figured I'd swing by and see if there were any more vict... er... Intro-Posts... yeah, that. here. Hi, not sure if welcome applies here, but welcome none-the-less. You should/would?/do? enjoy it here. I think. Right? Back me up guys. lol

    Insanity

That yoda lip-synch, man. It's amazing what people can accomplish when they got nothing but time. Whelp I have a new thing to pull from my YouTube history, so it doesn't start recommending me nothing but this kind of insanity. It's best in small doses, after-all... not by the gallon.

    Hello fellow minions!

Ah yes... Good point. Thanks for the clarification.

    Hello fellow minions!

Why is everyone trying to duck from fuzzy critters. It's the flying RUTAbagas, you gotta keep an eye on. My Softball team has been starting up practice. But they're switching to 1867 baseball rules instead of more modern softball rules. It's more of a gentleman's game that way. But they still need to practice with SOMEthing. I just happen to have tons of those around again. I gotta a new supplier.

    Hello

We are strange but mostly harmless. Mostly. Don't worry if the words coming out of our various speaking organs don't always make sense. It's all part of the experience.

    My heartfelt thanks to Gopher

Don't care if this ends up a necro post. I agree 100% with the original post. Thank you for letting Gopher know how many of us feel. Usually I'd put some inane commentary here about the weirdness of the forums and such; but I'm rusty, out of touch, and still am enjoying your original thoughts, as they sink in.

Weird, isn't it... it never really goes away, or dies. The Insanity Lives On!

    Hello

Hello THERE!!! Boy am I late to the party. I've been dealing with a lot of IRL crap last couple months. It's nice to have a moment to swing back through the forums and do some catching up! Normally, I'd warn you to keep an eye out for flying rutabagas, but my softball team is in their off-season at the moment, so you don't have to worry about it... yet. Time moves... differently here in Gopher's worlds. So no telling how long the off-season will last this time. Usually I'd come up with some clever way to humorously include a couple links from the forums. But since I'm an entire month late here. I'll just post and go. We have A Recipe Box where we keep a collection of delicious recipes. Feel free to add some of your favorites. And here's an outlet for The Insanity... Intended for those days you just need a bit of craziness to keep you grounded. Or to prove you're more sane/insane than you feel.

    Just saying hello :D

Well, I'm late to the party. Hiya welcome to the forums. Your English is really quite nice, especially with English being your third language. Seems even better than some of the native speakers I've encountered in my life. LOL Good job with that. You don't have to worry as much about the flying rutabagas for now. My softball team is in their off-season for the moment. So they aren't practicing as much as usual. But don't worry, they'll be back in force smacking around rutabagas before you know it. I guess it's just a general rule to keep an eye out for them. Who knows if they're practicing a bit from their own house. I'm a month late, so I'll spare the goofy posting of links, and just give you the basic here's a link format. A Recipe Box where we keep a collection of delicious food recipes. Feel free to contribute your own. An outlet for The Insanity, for those days you just need a bit of craziness to keep you grounded. Or to prove you're more sane than you feel.
