    I've been Gophified!

Cheers! A few weeks ago I was looking for ESO info and stumbled upon Gopher's YT where I got to watching some SSE gameplay. After seeing all the mod possibilities I was hooked. One day I will sleep again; but for now it's mod madness and snacks. Anyways, I'm a guy from Toronto, Canada that's into CG Art and obviously gaming, little sleep and snacks, lots of snacks.

@Brinicio, I can't remember who you said is building in the Ender Ender now, but here's a schematic for them, per my lost diamond pick from February. It puts a single item-sorter rail and a dropper elevator (clicky version) beneath the ender-ending pad, so ender pearls go downstream but any other item is pushed through the floor to the ender-ending player. OK it took me forever to recommend this recording because I was such a fan of the original artist. Then I realized one can love and enjoy both. I hope you find this song pleasing to the ear. Let me know if you would like to hear the original version by the band that wrote and made this song famous in America.

Good Lord I miss this game...

I do but some does need some fiddling. Not sure if those two mods needed it but you do need this to start with: Unification Patch for 1.32 - 1.31 - 1.31 GOTY - 1.31A Game Versions - Most mods requires this so they will work nicely together no matter the version. You can use Nexus Vortex, Mod Organizer or Nexus old one but one that I found easier is The Witcher 3 Mod Manager, quiet easy to add and remove mods, not as much works as with Vortex for example. Then I have been using these mods: Script Merger - Needed to merge all mods and make sure all conflicts gets solved before starting the game. Friendly Hud - Customize the hud as you want it, clean screen, just the compass, effects just showing if low on health or in fight etc. Also have the option to pause cat effect once outside of caves and to unpause it at night. So no more glaring white if under the effect when exiting a cave ! Corrected Sorting - I used this mainly because I'm a lootholic and once you get stacks of 100+ the items can be spread out in the backpack. Sort Everything - Not used this, but saw it now on the Friendly HUD page and it would be a mod I would use if I played it again. Has a slight conflict with Corrected Sorting though, as can be seen in the description of the mod. Choose Which Alcohol Refills Alchemy - Simply, getting a ton of Dwarfen Spirits but game picks Alchotest if you have that in backpack. This mod you can pick what you want to use to refil with. All Quest Objectives on Map - Only shows quests that's in the journal so no spoilers so to speak. Works well with Colored Map Markers which I also used. Be careful and read the descriptions on both mod if you be using both of them. Disable Intro and Storybook Videos - You might remember this one from Gopher's mod videos, has been in my game since I played it first time. Perks Always Active - Just for the General Skill perks, always found it weird that they weren't from start. Obviously have to be careful with certain perks there since they might clash, i.e. the 3 different armor perks. Maybe a little bit of a cheat mod but as mentioned, always thought the General Skills should been done like this from the start. Then there is just some smaller quality of life mods like Icon Text, Gear Improvements Last Longer, Griffin Set (Slim version), Potions and Decoctions Small Duration Tweak and the two you used above as well. Then there is the Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, which I have not used but suppose to be really good. Adding it incase you would want it. Something for you to look through if you thinking on restarting the game again.

Hello fang, and welcome aboard. As someone who returned to ESO this year after finding some people among the minions to play with, I've found this community oodles of fun and terrible for going to bed on time. So be warned. 😄

So how about that GOG Galaxy 2.0?

You'll still have to buy from Epic if you want any games that they're putting out. As far as I can tell, GOG are doing this for the 'I want all of my games in one launcher' crowd so you'll somehow tell GOG Galaxy what games you have and where the executables are on your computer (It'll probably have an automatic search come to think of it) and it'll show you what games you have installed. That's my guess anyway. It's possible that it will somehow access your games library on other services, but you'll need to give Galaxy access to your accounts on the other platforms.

    An Epic Store Discussion.

I don't get even free games from EGS, haven't signed up with them, won't sign up with them no matter what game they have an exclusivity deal for. their so called battle against steam is a farce, they want to replace steam not compete with it, and when two leading companies in an industry go head on against each other it is the smaller ones that suffer and go out of business, and then those large companies seeing as they are damaging each other strike a deal and then run around doing whatever they want because all other competition has been run out of business.

    An Epic Store Discussion.

It kinda used to be before digital downloading became so prevalent. Whilst all stores would get the game, different stores would get different pre-order bonuses. Where do you think the console publishers got the idea from?

    An Epic Store Discussion.

@Eliorim @CryzeteurWow so my feeling about Epic are felt by others. I knew nothing about Epic or its history. I have not been a PC gamer for very long. IF this company keeps buying up and make PC games exclusives I may one day have to rejoin. Who would have thought the really bad idea of console companies doing exclusives would ever be adopted in the PC gaming world?

Maybe. I had also loaded most of the same mods, but I am not using Legacy of the Dragonborn, I'm level 50 but I got my smithing, speech and alchemy to 155 fairly fast. It was odd, I was not expecting that. Also, I haven't gotten as many locations. But I have also not avoided several fights and I've whacked a few dragons. Maybe that's the issue, I'm actively going out and finishing quests in an area. Ah well. EDIT: Also, I got the Saints and Seducers Creation Club item, and you have to have Ebony tier smithing to make Madness and Amber armor.

You are correct. Beta is not the finished game and does not contain everything that will be in the final game. Devs are very hedgy about what they will say because of this. I have seen major changes in games between Beta and Final. Normally, Beta does not contain all the quests and sometimes contains content that turns out to be so buggy that it is cut before Final. Content denial: The following is based on speculation... Stop reading if you do not like speculation... Since I started this board I have tried to verify what I could and generally what I post here is not too far off. I try to be accurate and avoid all the hype. I also post quotes and sources when I get a new published source. Still, we have now reached Beta testing and the information available is fairly accurate as to the general picture of the game. Things that are probably fairly stable are the map, game mechanics, dialogue and the main quest. These generally do not change much because it is very complicated to do so and can foul up the entire game. Still, Betas rarely contain the opening quest and some other quests as this spoils the game for the Beta testers. Beta testers can not release details on what they are seeing without violating confidentiality agreements, but things leak. The Devs themselves leak. Many leaks are inaccurate or exaggerated, but CDPR has confirmed most of the leaks anyway. Will the Final resemble the Beta? Will the Final resemble the gameplay footage CDPR has already released? It is hard to say. One of the criticisms leveled at Skyrim (BGS) was that promises made or implied in the trailers (BP) before release were not fulfilled in the Final game. That is one of the reasons why devs try to keep everything secret. When something is too buggy to implement it has to be dropped when time is running out. The Witcher 3 devs said that the DLCs were already in development when Witcher 3 was released but were too buggy to include in the initial release. At least one dev said that that was why the DLCs were free. It was always intended to include them in the initial release. I suspect that is what CDPR will do with CP. That is why I am not convinced that the gamer lounge will not be implemented -- of course it may already be in the game -- just without monetization -- or maybe that is what will monetize MP. How would you feel about playing a card game in MP that has monetization like GWENT? You could earn in-game credits for free or buy into the game. Players choice. I do know this was the original idea but do not know what the current status of the gamers lounge is. This is purely speculation at this point since the devs are silent and probably do not know themselves what will happen. I think they dropped the gaming lounge because of the monetization scandal. Most of Europe has very strict laws against in game gambling. But the devs were arguing over the games from the start so maybe they just dropped the idea because they couldn't come up with a really good game... however, one dev mentioned something about mini-games that could have been interpreted as there being mini-games in the hacking game play. Still -- no monetization in the hacking game play. BTW -- I really do not care about MP monetization and have not been following this. There is no information on this anyway. I am only concerned about single player game play.

Well my problem is you are just repeating everyone else's speculation and conjecture... The game is not even out or finial finish. If you go to https://forums.cdprojektred.com It is full of speculation and what if and they may and However this may change in the future. I stop going to that web site for that exact reason everyone has their opinion and thoughts but that does not make it true. Every blogger has another what if or "look at this you know that mean that"... CDPR did screw up.. They screwed up when they announced the game and showed video clips, 6 months before release. Now everyone has plenty of time to second guess developers, dream, speculate and draw conjecture. and as far as the Monetization goes " However, CDPR's comments are directed to all monetization, not just MP. I have been told that Beta contains NO monetization, so this is probably a non issue with SP. " CDPR stated that it’s, “too early to share details” regarding monetization in Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer. They continued that it was in the early stage and they’re continuing to experiment. The answer concludes, “You can expect that we won’t change our general policy toward deals with gamers. Expect wise monetization and always value for money.” Read more at https://www.mmorpg.com/cyberpunk-2077/news/cyberpunk-2077-multiplayer-monetization-details-too-early-to-share-1000054512#6KxT1MR2dwzyWMHp.99

I've been telling Gopher that he's ‘doing it wrong!’ (i.e. slightly differently from the way I do it, which is self-evidently the only proper way) for years! 😁 But all joking aside, he does sometimes drive me bonkers with his A.D.D. style of gaming. Does this sound familiar: Gopher wonders aloud whether you can do X in this game, while the game explicitly tells him how to do X in bright neon green letters on the screen. Gopher takes a wild guess how one might do X in this game, while the game explicitly tells him how to do X in bright neon green letters on the screen. Gopher, having failed, decides that clearly you cannot do X in this game, while the game explicitly tells him how to do X in bright neon green letters on the screen. Repeat from step 1 with a different X.

    Server Download

I wouldn't mind having it for one big reason, converting it to xbox and for phones. I successfully converted my 1.12.2 java world to bedrock on android, and am using it both in an all the mods 3 playthrough and on my phone usibng the latest 14.2 update. Honestly though given how amazing the minion community is, I'm willing to wait a few more years if it means more excellent builds and experiances on the main server. That being said, there is something appealing about the java version launching a ship to mars using galacticraft or using advent of ascension to unleash rpg hell opon the crossroads or the bedrock versions portability. Still, given its rumored to me a multi gig download, while I could play it and so could mobile users with enough space, some minion devices might have trouble playing it offline, so the servers continued exitance is a net benefit. I'm willing to send 3v the link to the converter jar if he would be willing to allow a conversion strictly for non java minion users, or do it myself, once the date arrives. Something to look forward to folks, minionland on ps4/droid/moddedswitch! -emperor_tzphard

I have published on several channels over the years. I don't think any of them still exist... so I downloaded my first album to YouTube: https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UCmK2lhXXA7aoe_JdpKEeheQ/videos/upload?filter=[]&sort={"columnType"%3A"date"%2C"sortOrder"%3A"DESCENDING"} I have 6 albums in all, so I will add more when I have time. I began putting these pieces together in an attempt to reconstruct ancient musical concepts. I have tried many different genres, adding an eclectic or experimental twist. I spent some time working with noise and dissonance. I tried making pieces that were alien -- not sounding quite like music to humans. Many of these experiments were not saved.

And an added plus to this is it will help heat your house ! I agree with the ones above start new and fresh install. The biggest problem I had was remembering all my passwords... Depending on your browsers, you can go to options and or security and have the browsers show you or even print out all your saved PW and web sites. Just a thought.
  36. 2 points
As Cryzeteur said in regards to the game, do a fresh install since you going from Win 7 to Win 10 and just transfer your save files. Just be aware that not all game save their files in the My Games folder in your document folder. You have to search where each game is being saved using google to be on the safe side. Have fun with your new PC !

If I don't have to deal with Epic I'm all in. This is a real head scratcher as far as how GOG will do this. Or should I say how steam Bethesda net and epic will allow them to do this.

OK, I guess I just had another senior moment. I should have got my first clue from the title screen. I sure don't remember that DLC cave I guess that was why I thought this was early access to the new game. Now I am wondering why Bethesda didn't give Gopher early access to Rage 2 like Cohh got. I need to go check my other fav LPers that usually get things early.

Do you as a game player and LP watcher ever get frustrated when you hear Gopher say "I wish the game reported this or that" "I wish the game did this or that" You know the game offers all those features but Gopher has turned them all off? I almost wish he'd start a LP with everything turned on and turn things off as they get in the way of the story.

Has anyone checked that it hasn't released already? Because that would be a surprise.

Thank you for the tip. I don't have Steam Cloud active. When it first came out I used it but I play so much It filled fast and crashed my game. Steam would not allow me to go in and delete old saves. The whole thing was a mess so I have never turned that feature back on. Maybe its fixed now.
